Lillian Chin Obituary
AGE: 94 • Newark
Lillian Leah (nee Leung) Chin, 94 on Newark, DE completed her earthly journey on Thursday, June 18, 2015 into the loving arms of Jesus.
She was born on July 6, 1920 to Leung Poon and Leung Wong Lin Si in Elizabeth, NJ. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Louise Davidson, her son, Harry, her brothers, Howard, Harold and Frank.
She will be deeply missed by her husband of 75 years, Harry Bing Chin, brother: Harry (Linda) Leung, sister Margaret (Jan) Louie, daughter-in-law: (Harry) Susan Chin, daughter: Fay (Kevin) Connors, grandchildren: Drew Marmo, Dana Roark, Melissa (Steve) Chin, Nicholas (Ivy) Tseng, Harry (Bernedette) Tseng, Karleia (Ross) Connors, Neeka (Brandon) Barnes, Kevin Connors, Jr., Christopher Connors and great grandchildren: Nick Loder, Cory Devonshire, Caterina Devonshire, Hunter Roark, Ethan Tseng, Charlette Tseng, Nolan Barnes and many loving nieces and nephews.
Lillian and Harry were the proprietors of Chin's Chinese Laundry on Fourth Street and Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington from 1954 to 1975. They retired to Octoraro Lakes, Rising Sun, MD and moved to Newark, DE in 1999.
Her beautiful smile, kind and gentle heart and wonderful meals will be missed by all those who had the pleasure to know her through the years.
