MARGUERITE BOWLES Obituary
Bowles
Of Wilmington, DE, passed away September 22, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul J. Bowles.
She is survived by her sister, Hunter Powell of Richmond, VA; nieces, Sandra Elliott, Linda Bell, Patricia Collier and Barbara Murphy; nephews, William Powell and Roy Knighton; and friends, Leslie Phillips, Jodi Keller and Cindy Meyers.
Marguerite was a member of the Crest Century Club and the Garden Gate Garden Club for many years. She studied Ohara School of Japanese Flower Arranging and achieved the status of Emeritus National Garden Club judge.
A viewing will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, September 29 followed by a memorial service at noon at the CHANDLER FUNERAL HOME, 2506 Concord Pike, Wilmington. Burial to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Delaware Hospice, 3515 Silverside Road, Wilmington, DE 19810.
