Marquita LaSone Smith Marquita LaShone Smith, daughter of Marvetta Smith, departed this life suddenly on Monday, February 7, 2005, in Wilmington, DE. She was born in Salem, NJ September 25, 1985. Nine years ago, she moved to Wilmington, DE. Marquita was a member of the First Seventh Day Adventist Church of Glassboro, NJ, where she sang in the Pleasant Cloud Choir. She was a graduate of Christiana High School, class of 2003, where she played basketball. She was a current student at Delaware Tech, where she played on the girls' basketball team. She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Marvetta Smith; maternal grandparents, Wallace and Elizabeth Smith; godbrothers, Marcus Lusby and Tourcan Daniels; devoted friend, Lenell Laws; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Family and friends may call after 10 am on Tuesday, February 15, 2005, at the Sharon Temple, Washington St., Wilmington, DE, where the funeral service will begin at 11 am.
