He was a man that taught me how to play liar's poker. He was part of the good old boys that will never exist again. He made me the attorney I am today and showed me how to be a true Sussex countian. He will be missed.

Trisha, my thoughts and prayers go out to you and Sam's family. I am in school so I can not be there. I just wanted you to know that I am praying for you and I have asked the Little Sisters to pray for all of his family, you to be strong and of course Sam's soul. Love you, Dan

Sam, if had to pick memorable moments about U of D in the 60's it was when you, Ronnie Janicki, and I used to cut classes on Friday at noon and go to lunch at Frenchy's Tavern on Ogeltown Rd. On a more serious note, Burke family please accept by deepest sympathy for your loss. Rest in Peace my friend.
