Michael MACGUINNESS Obituary

Michael Albert MacGuinness Age 52 of Dover, DE, died Saturday, March 8, 2003 at home after a long illness. Mr. MacGuinness was an Army veteran. He was a stone mason before his illness and he had an associate's degree in law from Delaware Technical and Community College in Dover. Michael was a very unique individual having many interests including CB radio, motorcycles and outdoor activities. He was known by his family and friends as a good-hearted person who would do anything for you. He loved his family very much including his dog "Ice". Mr. MacGuinness is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth June MacGuinness of St. Augustine, FL; 2 brothers, James J. Ciriaco and his wife, Jean and Robert MacGuinness; 1 sister, Theresa Ciriaco, who's special affection, devotion and love for her brother was shown every day during his illness; 3 nephews, Jerrold James Rynkowski, James J. Ciriaco, Jr. and Travis L. Ciriaco; 1 niece, Annette J. Torre; and a stepdaughter, Linda Kane. Services will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2003 at 2 pm in the Chapel of Gracelawn Memorial, where friends may call after 1:15 pm. Burial will be in the adjoining memorial park. Contributions may be made in Michael's memory to the American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way, New Castle, DE 19720 or the American Diabetes Association, 100 West 10th St., Wilmington, DE 19801.
