Michael Majewski Obituary

Michael E. Majewski passed peacefully from this life on March 10, 2018 at the age of 79. Mike was born in Milwaukee, WI, and came to Delaware via his service in the U.S. Air Force at the Dover base. He went on from there to a 38-year career with Delmarva Power, retiring in 1998.
Mike loved going on road trips with his wife, especially to New England and Appalachia. He enjoyed country music and smooth jazz, puttering in the yard, and tinkering for countless hours in his garage with his tomato-red classic El Camino. He was always ready with a joke or a quip, entertaining neighbors and friends alike. Most especially, however, he was a devoted Grandpop who doted on his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, keeping them outfitted in the latest sneakers and always being the most enthusiastic cheerleader on the sideline of every sporting event.
He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Carol (Smith) with whom he would have celebrated 60 years of marriage this year. He is also survived by his 3 children: Vince (Andrea), Michael (April), and Deborah; 5 grandchildren: Katie Feeley (Brian), Edward, Steven (Georgina), Aaron, and Lee Majewski; and 2 great-grandchildren: Emilana and George Majewski; as well as his brother James Majewski (Karen), and his sister Sandra Boan.

It's been many years since I've seen Mr. M
I went to school with Vince for a year before we went off to different high schools but Mr. M was my babe Ruth baseball coach and I'll can tell you you couldn't ask for a finer coach and gentleman my thoughts and prayers are with you in this most difficult time

Carol, it's been many years (36?) since I have seen or talked to you. We worked together at Pantry Pride and I always remember you talking fondly about your husband, Mike. I am so sorry to read that he has passed away. I hope you find comfort spending time and sharing memories with your family and friends. I'll be thinking of you.
