Paul SARRO Obituary

Paul M. Sarro Age 50, lifelong Wilmington, DE resident, passed away at Christiana Hospital on Wednesday, September 22, 2004 surrounded by family. Mr. Sarro was a lead auto technician for the U.S. Postal Service for 31 years at the vehicle maintenance facility. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed gardening, fishing and hunting. He was a member of the National Rifle Association, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, and a life member of Ducks Unlimited. He graduated from Salesianum School in 1971. He was predeceased by his father, Joseph P. Sarro, in 2003. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Patricia (Baker) Sarro; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Dominic and Maria Sarro of Bear, and Joseph and Elizabeth Sarro of Wilmington; his mother, Mildred (Yates) Sarro; 2 sisters, Patricia Parrott of VA, and Donna Sarro of PA; and his grandson, Paul Domenico. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, September 27 at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 2505 Centerville Road, Wilmington. Friends are invited to visitation from 6-8 pm on Sunday, September 26 at MEALEY FUNERAL HOME, Limestone and Milltown Roads, Wilmington. Entombment will be at Cathedral Cemetery, Wilmington.
