Raymond Becker Obituary
Lewes - Raymond George Becker, age 89 of Lewes, DE passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2017, at Beebe Healthcare, in Lewes, DE. He was born Friday, November 23, 1928 in New York, NY, son of the late Karl and Dorothy (Engle) Becker.
Mr. Becker had worked as Director of Food Service at the University of Delaware and University of Buffalo, NY for many years. He enjoyed spending the winters in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Mr. Becker was much loved by his wife and family and will be missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Becker was preceded in death by his daughter, Suzanne Marie Becker. He is survived by his loving wife, Velma V. Becker of Lewes, DE; his daughter, Juliann Klie of Fairport, NY; his sons, Timothy R. Becker (Shirley) of Hockessin, DE and Rodney D. Becker (Patricia) of Asheville, NC.; his step sons, Gary C. Yaminski of Las Vegas, NV and Kurt Yaminski (Dorothy) of Buffalo, NY; his grandchildren: Scott, Greg, Sara, Brian, Edward and Kurt; and his great grandsons, Marshall and Spencer.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday, January 13th 12:00 pm at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 701 S. College Ave, Newark DE, 19713.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Becker's name to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
