Richard KIESS Obituary

Richard A. Kiess Richard A. Kiess, age 53, of Middletown, DE passed away surrounded by his family at home on February 2, 2005. He was born on July 31, 1951 in Findlay, Ohio. Richard was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He touched many lives and will be deeply missed. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Annette; his children, Andrew, Kenneth and Niki Kiess, Megan and Michael Miller; grandchildren, Leah and Sara Miller; father and mother-in-law, Gary and Donna Hay; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Robert Newton; sister-in-law, Julie Hay; brother-in-law, Randall Hay; niece, Jennifer Davis and family; nephew, Robert Newton and family; cousins, Bill and Eloise Kiess; Bob and Marianne Kiess, Bob and Ann Larson, and Bill and Salle Larson. Graveside services will be held at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, Ohio at 2 pm on Friday, February 11, 2005. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Hurt/Batelle Memorial Library in West Jefferson, Ohio. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Cancer Society, 92 Read's Way, New Castle, DE 19720 or the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center, 4745 Ogletown-Stanton Road, Newark, DE 19713.
