ROBERT THARPE Obituary

Robert Allen "Rocky" Tharpe, Jr.

Robert Allen "Rocky" Tharpe, Jr., 43, of West Grove, PA, passed away on Monday April 20, 2009 at Heartland Hospice House.

Born in Bethesda Naval Hospital, he was the son of Robert A., Sr. and the late Amy E. Casey Tharpe. He graduated from Brandywine High School and Widener University and was employed as Director of Sales for Vortex Fitness Equipment. He was a member of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. He enjoyed music, especially playing his drums, and playing Frisbee golf.

In addition to his father, Rocky is survived by his daughter, Feighanne Tharpe; sister, Marjorie Garbini and her husband, Charles; many family and friends and his dog, Bindi.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service at 2 pm on Friday, April 24, 2009 at Gebhart Funeral Home, 3401 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE. Family will receive guests starting at 1 pm. Interment will be private.
