Robin Delle Donne Obituary
Wilmington - Robin (Renai) Delle Donne, age 68, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 9, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Wilmington, the daughter of the late Bruno and Regina (August) Renai and was a graduate of Conrad High School. In addition to raising her family, Robin enjoyed a 28-plus year career as an administrative assistant at the Boys and Girls Club of DE. Furthermore, she dedicated her time and talent to St. Elizabeth's School and Parish, serving as basketball coach for more than 30 years. She had such a strong influence on so many young basketball players and followed many of them as they went on to play the game at all levels.
Robin enjoyed spending the first week in August in Wildwood, NJ and was a self-proclaimed "foodie", where she especially enjoyed eating crabs, a perfectly cooked steak or making and sharing her famous potato salad. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Tom Delle Donne; her children, Dana Gaetano (Rob) and TJ Delle Donne (Nicole); her granddaughter, Maria; her siblings, Regina Sweeney (Don "Swat", deceased) and Ron Renai (Diane); and several nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Family and friends are invited to visit from 5:00 - 8:00pm on Thursday, August 12, 2021, at St. Elizabeth Church, Cedar and Clayton Streets, Wilmington, DE 19805, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated the following day at 10:30am. Interment will follow in Cathedral Cemetery.
Please omit flowers. Contributions in Robin's memory can be made to St. Elizabeth School, 1500 Cedar Street, Wilmington DE 19805, where she will be inducted into the school's hall of fame in October for all of her years of volunteer work and coaching.

I worked with Robin at the B&GClubs for over 20 years. Robin was one of my favorite people. I loved her potato salad. A few years ago, I was dealing with breast cancer from 2017 and 2018. Robin sent me several get well cards and always wrote uplifting words. She was very devoted to her family and St. E's. I will miss her very much. Judy Frederick

To Robins dear family. I am so very sorry for Robin´s passing. We went to St. Anthony of Padua School together and continued hanging out with the same crowd after graduation. As we got older, married, had children, and moved away from St. Anthony´s, our lives changed. I would run into Robin at reunions, and the Italian Festival. What I always loved about her was her beautiful laugh. It was so contagious and so like her. When I was ever in her presence, we would laugh, she was funny and she always seemed so happy. She was an amazing woman.
