ROBIN THURLOW Obituary
Faithful and loving husband, father, and grandfather, Robin T. Thurlow, age 81, began his final journey on November 13, 2009, to join his Lord.
Colonel Thurlow was born and raised in Michigan and, after much travel, settled in Delaware. Robin served as a lieutenant in the U.S. Army in the Korean War and retired as a full Colonel in 1988, having served for 40 years. He worked many years as an accountant, and retired from Artesian Water Company in 1990 as Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and CFO.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 59 years, Marion "Birdie" Thurlow whom he married in 1950. He is also survived by his 3 children, daughter, Laurie Myers and his 2 sons, Gary and Christopher Thurlow. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, extended family and countless friends.
A memorial service will be 2 pm, Sunday, November 22, at Wyoming United Methodist Church, 216 Wyoming Mill Rd., Wyoming.
