Ruth Fangman Obituary
Wilmington, DE - Ruth M. Fangman, age 94, of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully on April 23, 2021.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Ruth and her eldest son, Paul "Marty" Fangman will be held on June 19th at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 3200 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703, at 12 noon. The family encourages you to dress casually. For those unable to attend the Mass, a live webcast will be available via Holy Rosary Catholic Church's website. Ruth will be interred privately at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Delaware Hospice, New Castle County Office, 16 Polly Drummond Center, 2nd Floor Newark, DE 19711. I just discovered that dear Ruthie dies last spring when I tried to phone her. My mother, Mary Cloud, used to vacation with Ruth and Joan in Rehoboth beach many summers ago. She became part of our family just by living nextdoor to my somewhat unique Aunt Catharine. I send her family our condolences.

I’m so very sorry to hear of Ruth’s and Marty’s passing. Ruth was an awesome lady/mom when I hung out with Debbie when we about 14 yrs old. Whole family is awesome! Great memories! May you all feel God’s comfort, peace & strength during this devastating time. Your family is in my prayers.

As one of the few who got to enter Ruth’s Rehoboth Beach vacation abode as well as attend Bobby’s celebration of Life I will choose to celebrate her life as well!

judith & I were Saddened to learn of Ruth,s passing recently (2021). WE remember her son (Bobby) every "9/11" anniversary. The Claymont Historical Society honored both her & son in the 2002 Christmas Parade.
