Scott BURNS Obituary

Scott Wallace Burns Scott Wallace Burns, age 23 of Newark, DE passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2002. Born in Wilmington, Scott was a 1998 graduate of Hodgson Vo-Tech High School. He was a certified cabinetmaker and was presently studying at Delaware Technical and Community College, pursuing a degree in architecture. In his leisure time, Scott enjoyed woodworking, biking and trips to the beach. He is survived by his parents, Samuel W. and Linda A. (Reid) Burns with whom he lived; brother, Colin W. Burns of University of Massachusetts at Amherst; maternal grandmother, Marvel L. Reid of Newark; paternal grandparents, Earl W. and Helen Burns of Ft. Myers, FL; and uncle, Bruce T. Burns of ME. A memorial service will be held at 7 pm on Tuesday, November 5, 2002 at the SPICER-MULLIKIN FUNERAL HOME, 121 West Park Place, Newark, where friends may call after 5 pm. Those who wish may make contributions in Scott's memory to Hodgson Vo-Tech High School Cabinet Shop, 2575 Glasgow Avenue, Newark, DE 19702 or to the charity of the donor's choice.
