Theresia A. Robinson, age 81, of Seaford, and recently a resident of the Harrison House in Georgetown, passed away on February 10, 2016 at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford. Born on December 16, 1934 in Holland, she is the daughter of the late Johann Mansfeld and Emile Steckenmesser Mansfeld. Theresia was on of seven children. At a young age, she and her family moved to Wetzlar, Germany. In 1963 her family traveled and relocated to America. She was married to her loving husband James W. Robinson, whom passed away in February 2002. She was a former teacher with the Head Start in Seaford. She loved her family, and was a wonderful homemaker for over 43 years. Theresia enjoyed having all of the family together for dinners and celebrations. She was a paramount cook and seamstress, and will be remembered for her sense of humor in all that she did. She was of little stature, but was blessed with a mighty personality.

Theresia is survived by her daughters; Eva Murphy, Pia Calhoun, Shirley LaChance, Patricia Browning, Gloria Robinson, and Janice Wimbrow. Eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive her. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband James "Walter" Robinson.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 2:00pm at the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home, 700 West Street, Laurel, DE 19956. A viewing will be held from 1-2pm at the funeral home. Father Clement Vadakkedath CSsR will officiate. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Blades, DE.
