Virginia RIALE Obituary

Virginia L. Riale Virginia L. Riale, age 73 of Landenberg, PA died Thursday, December 9, 2004, at the Jennersville Regional Hospital in Penn Twp. She was the wife of Raymond S. Riale, Jr., who died in 1996y and with whom she shared 45 years of marriage. Born in Analine Village, Linwood, PA, she was the daughter of the late Archie K. and Anna Bennett Powell. She was a graduate of Kennett High School and attended real estate courses at Penn State. Until retirement, she worked as an agent at McMillan & Herrington in West Grove. Mrs. Riale was a member of Avon Grove, Kennett and Oxford Seniors and the Dixie Line Chickens Red Hat Society. She volunteered at the Jennersville Regional Hospital and the American Red Cross since 1998. She enjoyed cards, crocheting and her family, and she lived in the Kemblesville area since 1959. Survivors include 4 sons, Richard and his wife, Janet, of Landenberg, PA, Roger and his wife, Ruthie, of Kemblesville, PA, Raymond and his companion, Jayne, of Pike Creek, DE, Ralph and his wife, Sherry, of North East, MD; and 1 daughter, Robin Hocking and her husband, David, of Landenberg, PA. Other survivors include 2 brothers, Robert Powell and his wife, Jean, Ronald Powell and his wife, Jackie, both of Unionville, PA; 16 grandchildren; and 1 great granddaughter. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Monday, December 13, 2004, at the FOULK & GRIECO FUNERAL HOME, 200 Rose Hill Rd., West Grove, PA 19390 (610-869-2685). Friends and family may call from 9-11 am before the service. Interment will be in New London Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Avon Grove Seniors, Avondale Presbyterian Church, PO Box 441, Avondale, PA 19311; or to the Jennersville Regional Hospital, 1015 W. Baltimore Pike, West Grove, PA 19390.
