WILCOX HELD Obituary

Wilcox "Bill" W. Held

Age 81, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, February 17, 2008.

He was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason and a member of Ionic Lodge #31 in Newport, DE. He worked for the DuPont Co for 34 years, retiring in 1986, and when he retired he purchased Felton Formula Lubricants and started a family business where he continued to work until his death.

Bill is survived by his wife of 59 years, Jonna Christine (Key) Held: his daughter, Sandee Foust and her husband Charles of Amelia Island, FL, and their children, Taylor and Jennifer: daughter, Ruth Martin, M.D. and her husband Ray of Greenwich, CT, and their children, Helena, Criswell, and Meredith: daughter, Janey Kunkle and her husband Ken of Wilmington, DE, and their children, Laura Barba, Karl, Kris and Andrew: devoted son, Bill Jr. and his wife Debbie and their son Jack of Newark, DE:

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service in the Chapel at Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle, DE, on Friday morning, February 22, at 11 am. Burial will be in the adjoining memorial park. Friends may visit with the family, on Thursday, evening, February 21, at Brandywine Valley Baptist Church 7 Mt.Lebanon Rd. Talleyville, from 7-9 pm.

In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to a charity of your choice.
