Bruce Robinson Obituary

Bruce T. Robinson, age 53, of Fort Myers, FL, formerly of Media, PA, passed away on May 29, 2021, at home from a sudden heart attack. He was born in Mechanicsburg, PA, son of the late Diane Guinaugh Robinson and the late Joseph T. Robinson. Bruce was a 1985 graduate of Penncrest High School, and a 1989 graduate of Villanova University. Bruce retired to Fort Myers in 2018 after a successful career in the cleaning industry. He started his first cleaning venture shortly after graduating from Villanova; his company specialized in cleaning small businesses and car dealerships. A fan of classic rock, Bruce had an encyclopedic knowledge of all things Bob Dylan, and attended many live shows. An enthusiastic and unapologetic supporter of President Donald Trump, Bruce enjoyed his time living in Florida, where, as he put it, “IT’S STILL AMERICA DOWN HERE!” Bruce will always be fondly remembered for his gift of bringing together large and diverse groups of people, many of whom have maintained lifelong friendships. He will be dearly missed by his family and many friends. Bruce is survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. Details regarding Bruce’s memorial gathering are forthcoming; in the meantime, online condolences may be made at www.cavanaghfuneralhome.com
