Carol Cooper Obituary

1949-2018 Carol Imbt Cooper, 69 of Wallingford, died peacefully at home on August 22 after a courageous battle with melanoma. Born in Philadelphia, the daughter of Herbert R. Imbt (d. 1989) and Kay (Scholey) Imbt (d.2010) Carol is survived by brother John H. Imbt, his partner Betsy Suhey, of State College, and many friends. Carol attended college at Arizona State University and graduated at Penn State University. Carol grew up in State College, Pa. After college she lived in Arizona, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Philadelphia and Wallingford. Carol was a kind and caring animal lover who enjoyed flying planes, knitting, spinning and spending time with her friends. A Memorial Service will be Thursday, September 13 at Cavanagh-Patterson Family Funeral Home, 43 E. Baltimore Ave. Media, from 5-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Penn Wissahickon Hospice.
