CHARLES P. RAPPA Real Estate Broker Charles P. Rappa, age 72, of Broomall, PA passed peacefully with his children at his side on September 15, 2011. Charles was a successful Real Estate Broker and founder of Charles Rappa Real Estate. Charles had many hobbies. He was an avid train collector, roller coaster enthusiast; he loved skiing, traveling and boating with his family and friends on his boat The Charlie Brown. But, his biggest passion of all was music. Charles was a professional musician since he was 15 years old. The last 40 years he played steadily with The Mike Pedicin Band in the Philadelphia Metropolitan area and the New Jersey shore. Most people remember him with a spring in his step and smile on his face. He was in love with life and lived it to the fullest. Predeceased by sister Marie Tantaros and brother William Rappa. Survivors: Children Charles J. Rappa (Sue), Cynthia Rappa-Gravlee (William) and David L. Rappa (Maryann Cocci-Rappa), brother Albert Rappa, grandchildren Charles A. (Carolyn), Trey, Lauren, Amanda, Jonnie, Holley and Justin and great grandchildren Charles R. and Hannah. My life would be very different without the kindness and direction Charlie showed me. He gave me an incredible gift in teaching me that anything was possible. That kind of gift can only be repaid by giving it to someone else. I hope I am living my life in a way that repays that gift – and is a tribute to his memory.
