Dorothy Mae Eachus

Dorothy Mae Eachus, age 97 Dorothy Mae Eachus, age 97 years, formerly of Media, PA, died August 6, 2014 at Old Orchard Health Care Center in Easton, PA. Born and raised in Darby, PA, she graduated from Darby High School class of 1935. She lived most of her adult years in Media, PA. She worked for many years for Bishop Nursing home, and as Activities Director at Manchester Nursing home in Media. Mrs. Eachus was a member of the Media Presbyterian Church. Dorothy loved nature, flowers and animals. She also enjoyed travel and cooking. She had a strong sense of family and tradition and she was always surrounded by friends old and new. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Howard D. Eachus. She was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Alice and William K.H. Linvill. She was the mother of the late Garrett Jay Linvill and the late William Howard Eachus. Survivors: Daughter-in-law, Florence M. Linvill. Granddaughters, Dorothy Linvill-Neal (Craig) of Easton, PA and Holly Kotridis (George). Great grandchildren: Dorothy Belen Pyles (who Dorothy helped raise until age 12), Daphne A. Kotridis, and Alexander Jay Kotridis. Memorial Service: 11 a.m., August 22nd at Middletown Presbyterian Church, 273 S. Old Middletown Rd., Media, PA 19063. Visitation: 10 -10:45 a.m. Interment will follow at Media Cemetery Luncheon will be served at the Towne House, 117 Veterans Square, Media, PA 19063.
