Dulce M. Weyn

Dulce M. Weyn, died September 30, 2017 at the age of 76. Born in Cuba she left at 19 to come to the United States. Suspecting there was trouble in Cuba Dulce’s mother sent her to live with friends in Pittsburgh. That’s where she met her husband James and moved to Wallingford, PA. Dulce was very involved with her children, volunteering at the elementary school until the kids were older and she went back to work. She began her health care career as a translator working for Childrens Clinics of Chester and soon worked her way up to Vice President at Sacred Heart Hospital in Chester. She enjoyed reading, travelling, gardening, spending time with her family, taking care of her home and spending time with her late husband Adrian. She was predeceased by her Mother Margarita Pau Berchi, husband Adrian “Bud” Weyn M.D. and former husband James F. Carney Jr. Survived by her sons John “JJ” (Traci Lifsted) Carney and James “Jimi” (Nicole) Carney; step-daughters Leslie A. Weyn (David Bell), Barbara Weyn Mozamian; step-son David C. Weyn, M.D.; also 11 grandchildren. Visitation: Saturday from 10:00-11:45 am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home Ltd., 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA. Memorial Service: Saturday at 12:00 pm at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home Ltd.
