Edward Francis Keyser

1923-2015 Edward Francis Keyser, a 63 year resident of Essington, PA, died on October 9, 2015. Born April 17, 1923 in Philadelphia, he entered the United States Navy in 1940 and served in the Pacific Theater of World War II as a pilot aboard the U.S.S. Intrepid. Edward achieved the rank of commander while serving on active and reserve duty for over 23 years. Following his honorable discharge from active duty, Ed worked as a photo engraver for Triangle Publications in Philadelphia. Ed is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Glenys Audrey (Brewer); his children Edward Jr. (Peggy), Carolyn Averell (Earl), Glenys Zigmont (Bob), Robert (Lori) and Timothy (Claudette); 14 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and his sister, Edna Stammer. Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing, Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 9am and to his Funeral Mass at 10am in St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Church, 500 Wanamaker Ave., Essington, PA 19029.
