She is also sadly missed by her grandparents; Thomas J., Jr. and Carol A. (nee Dougherty) O'Leary and William H. and Kathleen (nee Mendte) Logan; her great grandmother Dorothy Murray; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Service: Her Funeral Mass was Friday, September 7, 2012, Our Mother of Good Council Church, Bryn Mawr, PA.
Contributions may be made to the Joanie Logan Foundation, P.O. Box 766, Bryn Mawr, PA 19010.

Wanted to share a spiritual connection that I feel with your family. While reading the paper last week, this obituary stopped me. I read it over and over and wondered about it, you see, my child
is also Elizabeth Joan, my name is Joanie and my sister is Tess/Theresa. Thoughts of your family stayed in my consciousness when yesterday, my sister started telling me of this couple who lost two children in as many years and I said your names. She had heard through friends of friends. The world works in mysterious ways and your girls spirits are felt throughout the universe. Love and thoughts from people who don't even know each other.

Dan and Katie and everyone in the O'Leary and Logan families, my heart aches for you all. I mourned the loss of little Joanie and never have for a second forgotten her and all of you. I have prayed each and everyday since she passed. Now to hear of little beautiful Lizzie's passing is just too much to understand and for you all to bear. I have now prayed non stop since Lizzie died. I'm so so sorry for your loss of these beautiful angels. I pray that God gives you all strength and peace and that you find happiness in the joy of little Tess. I will forever be praying for 2 great families. I know both Joanie and Lizzie are in Heaven together.

Katie, Dan and Tess, I had to reach out, though there are no words left. Joanie is always in my heart, not à day has gone by where I havent thought of her and we havent prayed for her as à family. I feel like I havent gotten past that little angel and now your precious Lizzie has been taken. I read all of the entries, and yes Joanie was waiting there at Gates of Heaven for Lizzie. Our faith has to intercede in times such as these. My family has such aching hearts for your pain. We are so confused as to how or why this could happen twice to such good deserving people.
