Ella Gillespie Obituary
Born in Media, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Darlington and the Late Blanche Malaney Darlington.
Ella was employed the Scott Paper Company as a Timekeeper and Packer.
She was the wife of the late William J. Gillespie (d. 1990); beloved mother of Nancy Fortuna (Alfred D., Jr.) and the late William H. Gillespie, Jr. (d. 2007) (Elizabeth); grandmother of Michael A., Anthony C., and Christian J. Fortuna, Rebecca S. Grear, Matthew R., Kathleen J., Cara E. and William H. Gillespie, III,. She was predeceased by all her siblings, Warren, Charles, Thomas and Robert Darlington and Hazel Taylor.
Funeral service: 11 AM on Apr. 30, 2013 at the LONGWOOD FUNERAL HOME of MATTHEW GENEREUX, 913 East Baltimore Pike, Kennett Square. Viewing: 10-11 AM at the funeral home. Burial: Birmingham-Lafayette Cemetery. In lieu of flowers: Neighborhood Hospice, 400 East Marshall St., West Chester, PA 19380. Condolences @ www.longwoodfuneralhome.com.

We will miss Ella very much. She was a lot of fun, would tell it like it was, and a great neighbor to my mom and dad. Ella's family is in our thoughts and prayers at this sad time.
