Evalyn Ann Pfander

Evalyn Ann Pfander (nee Sanborn) of Ridley Township, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2023, she was 85 yrs. old. Evalyn was preceded in death by her parents Harry D. & Rebecca J. Sanborn, her brother, Harry D. Sanborn, Jr. and her grandson, Zachary Christian Kaiser. Evalyn is survived by her loving and devoted husband, John Pfander. Evalyn and John were high school sweethearts at Ridley High and were married for 64 years. Evalyn was the proud Mother to 5 children: John Pfander (Olivia), Wendy Kaiser (Mark), Jody Pfander (Liza), Tracey Mutz (Sam) and Amy Moriarty (Jack) and her 18 grandkids, Joseph, Alex, Brittany, Cody, Troy, Tyler, Jake, Cade, Johnny, Jesse, Sammy, Brady, Brett, Wade, Riley, Jack, Quinn, and Lanie. Evalyn was also a Great Grandmom to Isabella and Lakelynn. Evalyn was a loyal and friendly employee at Clover and Kohls Department Stores for over 25 years. Evalyn was also a loving and dedicated Mom and Mom-mom who enjoyed being with her family more than anything in the world. She enjoyed reading, cooking, baking, sitting on the beach and watching baseball games, plays and other sporting and school events. She was always there cheering on her husband, children and grandkids sitting in the stands or attending any and all events. She was a beautiful soul inside and out and will be tremendously missed every day.
