My family the Watsons Gayle, Bill, and Kim, that's me, we were friends with the Smith family. We had wonerful times together. Close to Cheryl both my mother and I, we met Fred when they first got together. I remember him having a great sense of humor. When I came to visit they were both very good to me. I was made to feel at home. I had some
wonderful summers with the family. They made a great couple. We all lost touch but our memories remain in our hearts. I am very happy they had 41 years together. I have fond memories of the Smith family, Cheryl and Fred. My condolences to Cheryl and her daughter. Love and prayers. Kimberly Watson Acosta

Sorry to hear this news - RIP 'Big Fred'. I worked with Fred for many years at Delaware County Prison - he was a true 'old school' officer. Condolences to the Keller family

I worked with Fred many years ago, as a correction officer at the Delaware County Prison.

He was kind, funny and generous, and always kept me safe. Hard to believe I've known him for 38 years. Harder still to hear that he is gone.

Freddie...you served your community and country well. Can never thank you enough.
