James Thomas Johnston

James Thomas Johnston, 66 of New Castle, DE formerly of Ridley, PA passed away December 14, 2018 at Churchman Village in Newark, DE. He was born February 20, 1952 in Chester, PA to the late Merrett & Elizabeth (nee Carey) Johnston. James formerly worked for the Chester Housing Authority before retiring in November 2017 from Elwyn as the Electrical Supervisor. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, playing pinochle and was an avid Washington Redskins fan. Survivors include his wife, Mary (nee Kondor); children, Jimmy and Jacki; siblings, Skip & Jack Johnston and Tina Snyder. Family and friends are invited to his Memorial Visitation on Saturday January 12th from 11 am to 1 pm at the Cavanagh Family Funeral Home, 301 Chester Pike, Norwood. Interment will be private.
