Jan was one of the friendliest members of our high school class, and was always smiling and happy. She loved to connect people with each other, and was the first one to reach out to me in making sure I knew about our 50th High School Reunion. I remember her parents, and the Rev. Ruth at Goshen Baptist. She was so kind to all, and will be missed by so many. God bless you, Jan and the Lord be with your family.

One of the very people that Cheryl and I knew that every one loved. In high school, she was always nice and helpful to everyone. We stayed in touch with her for a couple years after graduation, but soon lost touch with her. Fourty years later, we met her again and she was the same sweet person. She remembered so many things from our days together at Henderson. I was shocked. Our prayers are with her family and friends. We love you Jan. Dave and Cheryl McGinley

I used to go with my cousin Jan into her room when I was a kid, visiting my Uncle Howard and Aunt Millie, and she would play with my hair and make me feel like a big kid. As she grew more beautiful, more fascinating, more well-traveled year by year, I felt as if I was watching that beautiful young girl turn herself into a beautiful woman. From everything I was able to see, she created for herself a wonderful life. I send my love for her into the next world and wish her an eternity of happiness.

The Compeer program of Chester County greatly valued Jan's contributions as a volunteer. She helped brighten the lives of many people living with mental health conditions. I last saw Jan when we both attended an event at the Cornerstone Clubhouse. She was a joy to know.

Jan contributed to all of our lives from her smarts in our high school school classes to her friendly face and support as we went off to Grove City College and reconnecting through Facebook and reunions. We shared a love of Mexico and travel and shared recommendations of where we have been. She will be missed by all. Her smile will linger and warm our hearts. My prayers are with the family as they journey through their life with special memories.

I was so saddened to hear of Jan passing away. I am so very grateful that I along with other classmates got to enjoy Jan's company at our 50th reunion back in October. She was such a kind and caring person and so interesting to speak with. Love and prayers go to you Jack and Jan's family. She was such a strong woman and taught us all how to graciously accept our fate.

Jack, Stephen and family:

We will miss Jan as I know you all will, but we will never forget her warm smile and beautiful personality. And this photo of Jan is so very perfect, as you can feel that warm engaging person that she was and memories that will last forever.
God Bless.
