I don´t know if you still read these but to me, the Jeff I´ll remember best is the Jeff at CHOP just after Dean was worn. Liana was in patient, as was I. Jeff had to get Consuela & Dean back to the Ronald McDonald house. Wearing an ever present black polo, grey sweats, and boat shoes, he turned to Liana and said, "Ryan will take care of you while I´m getting Mommy home"
I was a kid. A sick kid, too. But at that point we were already family & duh I´d watch Liana. The nurses stepped in & I was relieved of duty, but just classic Jeff.
Better memories- of Christmas parties & late nights in the kitchen, of tight hugs where he whispered, "you´re my daughter, don´t forget."
Best memory & how I´ll always see him: black polo (natch) khaki shorts & boat shoes hosing down the driveway down the shore. Consuela & drove up blaring Barry White. He stopped washing the drive & started dancing to "My First, My Last, My Everything.
Every Diet Pepsi, every smile, every hug are engraved on my heart and in my memory.
I love you & I miss you. I hope heaven is filled with driveways to wash & parties to host. Thanks for being my other father and for loving me so well.

To you, Consuela, and your beautiful children, I desire for you to know the depth of sorrow we feel for your loss. Life, although a gift, at times feels so painful it renders us in states of confusion that so murk the waters we wonder if the shore truly exists. These
states are temporary. You, Consuela, are the shore for your children and you, children, are that shore for your Mother. The shore is love. It exists right there in this Feinman family who mourns the death of their beloved father and one time husband.
I remember the pride on Jeff's face as the two of you gave your
Rachael's hand in marriage. I remember Jeff's joy as he presented Lee and Mark on our doorstep to trick or treat! I remember feeling the love and kindness you expressed towards one another throughout the years. It was real and still is real. Hold on to those wonderful memories. Hold on to one another in this unbelievably difficult time. Know that you are loved and prayers surround you to lift up your grieving spirits. we grieve with you all.
Love,
the Tammany Family
