Joanne M. VanAuken (nee Feeney), 81 of Glenolden passed away October 18, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born April 21, 1937 in Philadelphia to the late Joseph and Josephine (Kelly) Feeney. Joanne was employed by Sidney Hillman as a bookkeeper. She enjoyed gardening, reading, and spending time at the beach. Her true passion was spending time with her family while providing love and care for everyone at all times. She would be described as an Angel On Earth. Survivors include: Robert Kelly (brother), Evelyn McCorkle (sister), James Feeney (brother). Kathleen Eckman (niece), Jennifer Serafino (niece), James Cleary(nephew), William McCorkle (nephew), Joanne Perotta (niece), Maureen McCullogh (niece). Robert Kelly (nephew), Ronald Roach (nephew), Christopher Feeney (nephew) and Patrick Feeney (nephew). In addition to over twenty great nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to her visitation on Friday Oct. 26th from 10 – 11 AM at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 1 Fatima Dr., Secane. Memorial Mass will immediately follow at 11 AM.
