John was definitely a man of honor and character. He always did what was right. John was an excellent police officer and law enforcement trainer.

He is in a better place and at peace. My deepest sympathy to his wife, son, and family.

We want to send our deepest condolences and well wishes to Aunt Jane and Junior. Uncle John was a man of strong faith and determination. He spent his entire career in the service to others. In addition, he spent his entire life in service to his family, not just immediate family but all of us that knew him as a friend (and for me, the "favorite uncle"). He was easily the most popular man at any family party, he was the person in the corner telling amazing stories that always drew a large crowd. He was the first guy to bust your chops for anything, but in the same vein was humble and always willing to accept your comment in return. He was the type of person that would ask you how you are doing but genuinely would wait and care about your response. He was a lover of life and all the little things you do not realize you take for granted sometimes. He knew his faith and his fate. I know he is resting well now, as he deserves. We will all miss him dearly.

John was our tax accountant many years ago and I have fond memories of his handling of our taxes and his sense of humor. He loved it that I used bank by phone to pay bills, he laughed at my shoe box of receipt and documents and I know many of his clients did the same. He was a great Santa Claus at St Laurence also. May you rest in eternal peace John, you were a good and honest man. I am glad I knew you.

I met John through professional contacts and he was a real gentleman and a police officer who truly cared about both victims and those accused.
John was jovial and quick with a comment when it was needed.
Both he and his brother Joe were true professionals that is very much needed in today´s environment.
John is with the Lord, which was really what he based his life goal.
RIP!

John will be greatly missed. He was a wonderful friend who shared his wisdom and humor on many occasions. He had the most devoted and loving wife, Jane, and a son that made him so very proud. He was a fighter till the end and now is at peace with his loved ones.
