Joseph J. Sheeran

Joseph J. Sheeran, age 94, of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on December 3, 2023. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph and Genevieve (née Cannon) Sheeran. Joe was the owner/operator of Herby's Auto in Drexel Hill. He was an avid golfer and liked doing crossword puzzles. Joe enjoyed spending time with his wife and family at his shore home in Brigantine, NJ. He really liked getting away from the cold in the north and took many trips to Florida and other warm climates with his wife and friends. Joe was the beloved husband of the late Jeannine (née Buterbaugh) Sheeran; the loving father of James Sheeran (Kathleen), Richard Sheeran (Mary), Jo-Ann Walmsley (the late Raymond), and Joseph Sheeran, Jr. (Kathleen). He was the devoted grandfather of 10 and great-grandfather of 19. Joseph was the dear brother of Theresa Patchel (the late Ken) and Kathleen Aubert (Don). He was predeceased by his siblings, John, Corinne, Louis, Francis, Helen, Mary, and Genevieve. Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing, Thursday, December 7, 2023, 9:30 to 10:30 AM at St. Bernadette of Lourdes Church, 1035 Turner Avenue, Drexel Hill, PA 19026, and to his Funeral Mass, 10:30 AM.
