Karl Lewis Hahn

Karl Lewis Hahn, 55, formerly of Media, PA passed away unexpectedly on February 7, 2022. Born Upland and reared in Middletown Township, he was the son of the late Alfred and Virginia E. Worrall Hahn, Jr. Karl was a graduate of Penncrest High School, class of 1985 and attended the New York School of Visual Arts. He was employed as a cinematographer. Karl was a member of the Motion Picture Association and was a former member of St. Paul P.E. Church in Chester, PA. The most important part of Karl’s life was his love and devotion to his daughter and family. Karl was the grandson of the late Rev. Lewis H. and Naomi Lilly Worrall and Alfred and Greta Dankert Hahn, and was brother of the late Anne Louise Hahn. He is survived by his daughter, Perrin Hahn and her mother, Jane Connelly, his siblings Edith Lundquist and Alfred Worrall Hahn (Karen), his nieces Kayla “Jo” Hahn and Elizabeth “Molly” Lundquist, many cousins, and his friends. Life Celebration will be held on Sunday, February 27th, 2022 from 3 pm - 7pm at: St John’s Masonic Lodge, 1406 Wilmington Rd, New Castle, DE. Following will be a musical benefit in his honor for his daughter, Perrin, at WaR3House 3 from 7pm -10pm, on the same day, at WaR3house 3 Wh-3, 100 Park Ave, Swarthmore, PA 19081.
