Lillian Coffman

Lillian Young Coffman Lillian Young Coffman, age 88, a lifetime Media resident, passed away at Lima Estates on May 6th, 2013. She was a graduate of Media High School class of 1943. After graduation she worked for sun Oil Company as a secretary. Lillian was a lifetime member of Media Presbyterian Church where she participated in Candelighters, Bible study and Circle Group. She was a kindergarten aid at Media Elementary for 10 years as well as a volunteer at Old Forge School in Middletown. While living at Lima Estates, Lillian delivered Meals on Wheels to those in need. She enjoyed traveling, reading, playing Bridge and Pinochle. However, the most important part of her life was spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Lillian will be sorely missed and always remembered. She was preceded in death byher beloved husband Bernard "Bernie" Coffman, her brother Lincoln Young, Mother Lillian B. Young and Father William Lincoln Young. Survivors: Son Kenneth Coffman and wife Nancy, Daughter Carolyn Coffman Harkins and husband Stephen, grandchildren Phillip Coffman, Craig and Courtney Coffman and Lindsay and Mike McCarthy, Geoffery Harkins and Victoria Harkins, as well as three great grandchildren Tyler and Ember McCarthy and Harris Coffman. Services: Will be held Sat., at the Rigby Harting & Hagan Funeral Home located on 4th St. in Media; Visitation 10-11 a.m., Service at 11. Burial: Immediately following.
