Lorraine Erickson Obituary

Lorraine E. Erickson Retired School Bus Driver Mrs. Lorraine E. (nee Lang) Erickson, 89, died on March 24, 2013 at her home in Springfield, PA. Born in Philadelphia, Mrs. Erickson was a graduate of John Bartram High School. She was a resident of Springfield since 1966. She was a school bus driver for the Springfield School District for over 25 years before her retirement. Mrs. Erickson was a charter member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Clifton Heights where she was very active. She was a member of the Sunshine Beach Girls Teddy Bear Club of St. Mark Church and also a member of the church choir. She was an avid animal lover. Mrs. Erickson was predeceased by her husband, LeRoy Erickson in 1997. Survivors: two sons, John Erickson of Springfield and Lee Erickson of Delaware, a brother, Jack Lang of Maryland, four grandsons, Edward, Christopher, William and Robert Erickson, and a daughter-in-law, Donna Erickson of Springfield. Services: Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Thursday, April 4, St. Mark Lutheran Church, 436 N. Oak Ave., Clifton Heights, PA 19018, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, immediately followed by a memorial service at 2:00. Burial: will be in St. Mark Lutheran Memorial Garden.
