Margaret Rosenzweig

1934 - 2017

Margaret T. “Peg” Rosenzweig of Aldan passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 2, 2017 at the age of 82. Devoted wife of 52 years of the late Maurice. Peg was the daughter of the late James and Margaret (nee Lewis) Brogan. In addition to her parents she was also predeceased by her son Gary Rosenzweig and siblings James, Edwin, Charles and Louis Brogan, Clare McClay and Patricia Minor. Survivors; Devoted mother of Diane DiSilvestro (Nicholas) and Mark Rosenzweig (Denise). Loving grandmother of Nicholas, Daria (Andrew Kulp), Christie, Amy and Marissa; also survived by her brother Michael Brogan and her daughter –in-law Lin. Peg was an avid bingo player and Phillies fan. She worked for many years at the Delaware County Court House as a court clerk. She loved to play Pinochle and traveling to many different places. Peg loved to cook family dinners and spend time with her family and friends. She will be remembered for her devotion to her church and her Catholic faith. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Saturday from 9:00am to 10:00am at Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 1101 Main St., Darby. Funeral Mass is at 10:00am at the church. Burial SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield. In Lieu of flowers, donations in Margaret’s name may be made to Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 1101 Main St., Darby, PA 19023.
