Mary Ann Farrell

Mary Ann Farrell, 74 Former Bank Claims Investigator Mary Ann Farrell, 74, of West Chester, PA, formerly of Newtown Square. Died Saturday April 2, 2011 at the home of her daughter. Mary was born in S.W. Philadelphia and graduated from St. Leonard Academy. She graduated from West Catholic High School for Girls in 1954. She worked for several years at the former Continental Bank as a Claims Investigator. Most recently, she was a Bus Driver for the Marple Newtown School District for several years. She was the widow of the late John George Farrell who died in 2005. They were married 37 years at the time of his death. Mary particularly enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Survivors: Children Debbie McCarrin of West Chester, PA, Tom McLaughlin of Broomall, PA, Bill McLaughlin of West Chester, PA, Linda Panichi of West Chester, PA, Sean Farrell of Westbrook Park, PA and Hugh Farrell of Westbrook Park, PA; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass Thursday at 10:30 AM at St. Philomena Church, Baltimore Ave. at Highland Ave., Lansdowne, PA Visitation: Family and friends may visit Thursday 8:30 to 10 AM at the Doyle-Stonelake Funeral Home, 85 E. Baltimore Ave., Lansdowne, PA 19050. Interment Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Neighborhood Hospice, 400 E.
