Survivors: Loving father of Michael R. Althouse, Jr., Steven J. Althouse and Grace Althouse. Former husband and friend of Rene Althouse and Michele Althouse. Also survived by 8 sisters and 2 brothers and extended family.
Memorial Service: Tues. 11AM at Springfield Baptist Church, 184 N. Norwinden Dr. Springfield, PA. 19064.
Visitation: Tues. 10-11AM at the church.
Burial: Private

To my husband and and father of our daughter, Grace Kelly Althouse we miss you so much. Your present here is gone now but you will always be with us. I am having a hard time letting you go! I know you are free from pain now and resting in peace. We love you.

Moose, you have and will always feel like a little brother to me, can not remember a time when you and Fran weren't together back in the old days. My thoughts and prayers are with your family and children, you are in the arms of the angels now, but will always hold a special place in my heart.

Michael/Moose and I were best friend from hanging out in SWP and living together in FLA, of course Michael offer me a free place to stay as long as I needed it. Always willing to give, he was in fact what I would call a giver! Whatever he had he was willing to give weather if it was something I needed done to my house or if I was in a tight spot, that extended to my family or anyone who I said was associated with me . All heart all the time, 100% whatever it was from working to working out to his friendship with me. So I will think every day of all the things you gave to me! With the saddest heart Your boy Turk.

Michael, my best friend growing up on muhlfeld st. I am so sad. My heart goes out to his brothers and sisters, his children and all of his family. We lost touch but in my heart, he was and is my best friend. I tell my kids all of our stories from the neighborhood, the park and the fields. We had a great childhood being best friends. Godspeed my friend.
