Omar Godoy Obituary

Omar F. Godoy, 83 Omar F. Godoy, 83, passed away at home on January 17, 2012, surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Godoy was a Delaware County resident for 48+ years, currently residing in the Woodlyn section of Ridley Township. He was born and raised in Rosario, Argentina, and he came to the States in 1963. Omar was employed as a custom auto painter at Springfield Dodge on the Baltimore Pike in Springfield. Mr. Godoy was a member of Saint Rose of Lima Church in Eddystone for 48+ years. He was the son of the late Francisco and the late Regina (Cepeda) Godoy. Survivors: His loving wife of 56 years Mafalda Lucia (Dordolo) Godoy; his daughters Susi Godoy-Moletteri (Evan) and Miriam Amabile (Mike) both of Wallingford; also his grandchildren Emily, Sofia, Michael and Nicky; his brother Roberto Godoy; his sister Dora Grimaldi. Funeral Mass Saturday at 10 AM at St. Rose of Lima Church, 1901 Chester Pike, Eddystone. Visitation Saturday 9 to 10 AM at the Church.
