Patrick Joseph Byrne III

It is with great sadness that the family of Patrick Joseph Byrne, III, announce his passing on Monday, February 22, 2021 at the young age of 19 after a courageous battle with cancer. Patrick was a graduate of Springfield High School and a current student at St. Joseph’s University working towards a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. He is survived by his grandmother, Gertrude Byrne, his soulmate, Victoria, and the many friends and family who were blessed to be touched by Pat. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass Saturday, February 27, 2021, 10:30am St. Francis of Assisi Church, 136 Saxer Avenue, Springfield, PA 19064 and to his Viewing 9:30am in the Church. Interment SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield. Patrick will be laid to rest beside his grandfather, Patrick J. Byrne, Sr., who with Patrick’s grandmother, lovingly raised him to be the caring, compassionate young man we all remember.
