Peter was a wonderful and inspiring man, and a great Irishman! His conversation always lifted our spirits ad Wednesday lunches at Immigration Center. His comprehensive knowledge of his Irish family lore was the envy of our Irish Genealogy Club. Pete lived in Delaware County, but his heart was in the County Monaghan. May the Lord bless Pete and keep him.

My sincere sympathies to the family. Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Peter, I have met his daughter Patsy and her family. My heart goes out to the entire family and his friends. His smiling face and glass of beer portrays a man who loved life. I'm sure he will be remembered by everyone who knew him, and I'm certain that when he meets you in heaven, he'll be smiling and have a glass of beer waiting for you.

I have known Pete for many years from STM class of '52; to all of the alumni functions. There is an old Irish saying " Death brings heartache that no one can heal; Love brings memories that no one can steal." Pete was, and is much loved.

So sorry for your loss. When I heard of Uncle Pete's passing my first thought was who will be the McEneaney memory keeper. I was quite concerned until I remembered all of the beautiful cousins that my husband still brags about playing with as a child. He many not be able to hug us but he will always be able to offer a little light thru his children and grandchildren. Wishing God speed to Uncle Pete and healing to his large and wonderful family.

My memories of Uncle Pete growing up were that he always had a smile on his face when I saw him. He was always sweet to me and seemed genuinely glad to see me. I always loved getting together with all his kids & the Cousins! He seemed to always be enjoying life and his family. I didn't get to see him much as I got older but he raised a great family along with Aunt Pat and they are a testimony to him, in the loving people they are. Very sorry for his passing. My deepest sympathy and love to Aunt Pat and the entire family. Love, Theresa

I first met Mr. McEneaney when I was at Prendie with Phyllis. When I think of him, I see him with a big smile on his face. He loved telling stories and making people laugh, and spending time with his family. I told my husband, "Mr. McEneaney was the kind of dad who would do belly-flops off the high dive 'cause he loved to clown around with his kids." He was always so nice and welcoming to me and he was just such a lovely man, who left such a beautiful legacy. He was always so proud to be with his big, wonderful family and he will be so missed by all who were privileged enough to know him. God bless you, McEneaney family. I'll see you soon. Love, Denise McDonald
