Dear Joyce, Rich & Jenn, we are so sorry Mitch has gone from our presence. You were truly blessed having such a wonderful man in your family, and we feel richly blessed having him as our friend. Mitch was a gentleman and a scholar, a devoted, faithful friend to all. We too miss him very much. May God comfort you with the many wonderful memories he brings to your life. With love, El & Elsie

Mitch was a good man who lived a good life in service to others. A devoted family man, successful attorney, community and church volunteer who sought no accolades and a friend to many. I was honored to practice law with Mitch for 20+ years benefitting from his knowledge but more so from his sense of humor, good nature and true concern for others. His passing leaves a large hole in hearts of many in the Delaware County community. My sincere condolences to his wife, Joyce, and to Rich and Jen and their families; you were blessed and we thank you for sharing Mitch with us. Rest in Peace, good friend.

Mitch's passing leaves a huge void that would take ten devoted people to fill. He was always a gentleman, always devoted to the bar and its members, always a man of great thought, courtesy, fair play, compassion and most of all, reason. His sense of humor was absolutely healing. We have lost a great friend, a great attorney, a great colleague, a great human being, a great man!

Mitch was a truly wonderful person, loyal to his family, to his partners, to his Bar Association. Mitch was a fixture for many years at our Association during serious and raucous events. I had the honor and pleasure of working with Mitch for 10 years and I must honestly say that he did not have a bad bone in his body. His passing really hurts all of us. I salute you, Mitch! Rocco

A friendly smile...always. A twinkle in his eye that suggested you should be on your toes. A feel for life, friends, the law, and a man who did so much for so many, and then had the modesty to keep quiet about it, because he believed in all the Christian values he knew to be the way to live life. He was a friend for fifty years. I will do my best to live up to his values as my thanks to him for being such a good man, a good friend, and a great lawyer.

In one of my first Common Pleas cases in Delco, Dick was on the other side. I was young and inexperienced attorney and Dick was the consummate professional and always very civil towards me. It has been close to 45 years ago and I cannot even recall the exact outcome but we settled, with him providing me with some good insights on how an attorney should conduct themselves. My condolences to his family and friends.

After having had several family law cases together with me as a young attorney, and Dick as the old bird, we often found a way to laugh and accept one another for being of thirty two years difference in age. I will never forget seeing him in shorts and a t shirt at a Tim McGraw concert in New Jersey. We often never get to see our counterparts socially due to family and work stresses and requirements. We had a beer and a laugh. He was a Stalwart of the family bar and of the BAR association itself for the 22 years I have been a member, and was well respected by all and appreciated deeply. May his laughter and memories and mentorships comfort his family for years to come.
