Richard T. Stewart, age 91 Richard T. Stewart, age 91, of Springfield, PA, passed away on August 11, 2013 at Springfield Senior Commons at Harlee Manor. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Thomas Richard and Margaret Mary Stewart (nee McLaughlin). He was a graduate of St. Thomas More High School in Philadelphia. He was employed as a postal worker for 2 years prior to being drafted into the Army where he received a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star. Richard is survived by his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Margaret Foster and his brother Frank Stewart. Services: Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Service Monday, August 19, 2013, 9:30 AM, The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby 610-449-0300. Interment: will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
