So sorry for your loss. She was a great lady and you all were such wonderful neighbors. Your mom was always welcoming, despite us running through the basement and playing in your garage none stop during summer vacation. Crescent Drive will not be the same!

I have fond memories of the Giacobello Family while growing up on Crescent Drive. Our families were original owners from the early 1950's. My mom, Diane Adamo, kept in touch with Mrs Giacobello and spoke to her recently. My deepest sympathy to Angela, Dominic, and Dolores. Love, Marlene Adamo Nathans

We will miss Mrs. Giacobello very much. We loved her and have many great memories of her. One of our favorite is the night of Donna and Dee's Senior Prom. We had a blizzard and an energy crisis. Plans for our after prom party were cancelled. So, we went back to Dee's. Mrs. Giacobello was such a great hostess - even at the late hour. She had all kinds of goodies for us and we had a wonderful time. Another memory of Edd's that we laugh about all the time is how Mrs. Giacobello used to tell her friends that she has known Edd since he was a teenager and dating Donna. She was lots of fun and so great to talk to. We loved her and will miss her so much. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family. xoxo

I worked with Rita from Jan. 1979 until she retired. I had not worked for 10 years and was nervous. Rita took me to lunch and introduced me to everyone. She was special, she always gave me good advice, I could talk to her about anything. When I had breast cancer in 1990 she came to Jersey to visit me with her friend Rae Mullin, who I also worked with. We spoke on the phone shortly after her husband passed away. I have thought of her often. I feel fortunate that I knew her and had her in my life, even though it was a short time. I will miss her!
