Robert LaBar Obituary

Robert N. (Bob) LaBar, age 85 of Penn Pines, Upper Darby Township passed away February 19, 2022. Born in Bryn Mawr, Mr. LaBar graduated from Lower Merion High School, class of 1954. He served in the US Air Force in Japan and was a retired floor covering retailer, owned LaBar’s Natural Foods in Lansdowne and was a driver for Upper Darby School District, Martin’s Run Lifecare and Enterprise Car Rental. Survivors, dear wife June, children John (Alice), David (Victoria), Diane (Jason) Taylor, 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandson. He was preceded in death by his son Jeffrey. All Services private. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Upper Darby Performing Arts Center. Condolences www.cavanaghfuneralhome.com

I have such famous memories of Mr Labar as a child growing up in PennPines... What a great example of a wonderful Man/human being he showed me and my sisters... he will be forever missed! I´m so sorry for this great loss!!!
