I just learned today about Roberta's passing. I was also in the 46th Aerial Port Squadron that she belonged to. She was a good soldier and now she will be in God's hands. May she rest in peace.

I just learned of Roberta's passing and I'm so sorry for your loss. I served with her in the AF Reserve and she was such a wonderful inspiration to me. As a young woman, I was awed by her perpetually positive attitude and deeply respected her. May she rest in peace.

I grew up in Twin Oaks, and still live there. Roberta and I went through school together and graduated in 1961.
The Thorpe's are one of the original
families in Twin Oaks, and we are all
like family.
Our prayers will continue to be with
this lovely family.

So sorry for your loss, I remember all the fun times talking to Roberta on Thomas Ave about the service and life in general. She taught us alot about growing us as young ladies. I know the family will find peace because of their strong religious ties, but if you need anything call on us, because once you lived in T,O., everyone becomes family.
