Theresa A. Bolt

Theresa A. Bolt, age 74, of Cochranville, PA, passed away after an eight year battle with cancer on Sunday, April 29, 2018, at her daughter’s home. She was the wife of Barney P. Bolt, Jr., with whom she shared 57 loving years of marriage. She will be greatly missed by her beloved children Nicole B. Comer and her husband Marc of Newark, DE, Barney P. Bolt III and his wife Tara of Baltimore, MD and Kelly A. Bolt of Orlando, Florida. Born in Chester, PA, she was the daughter of the late Anthony Ruger and the late Miriam Eyre McGinnis. Theresa attended the Cochranville Methodist Church and enjoyed her church community as she was a strong believer in the Lord. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for 35 years, and the Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Penn Chapter # 21. With her strong love of family and commitment to friends, Theresa enjoyed spending time with them whether it was traveling, dining or coordinating a “neighborhood” game. She took great pleasure in spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and children, she is survived by one brother, Thomas Ruger of Lincoln University, PA; two sisters, Miriam Martin of Woodlyn, PA and Betty Jane Talbot of Indianland, SC.; Nine grandchildren, Stephanie, Tiana, Melissa, Cherish, Michelle, Natalie, Maxwell, Marcus and Kiara and nine great grandchildren. She was predeceased by one great grandchild, Davinci Haynie. You are invited to Visit with her family and friends from 9:00 to 11:00 on Monday morning, May 7, 2018, at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, 250 West State Street, Kennett Square, PA. Her Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 Burial will be private.
