Thomas B. Stromberg Jr.

1937 - 2016

1937-2016 Thomas B. Stromberg, Jr., 79, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Sunday, June 12, 2016 in his home in Upper Darby, PA. He was born in Baltimore, MD but raised in Upper Darby, the oldest of the six children of Bernard and Helen. For 33 years, he worked for Upper Darby School District. He was a committed Christian and an active member of Crossroads Community Church in Upper Darby. Thomas was the devoted husband of Susan; beloved father of Thomas, Roy, Jason, Lucas, and Matthew who currently serves as the curate of Christ Episcopal Church in Cooperstown, NY. Thomas was the loving grandfather of seven and great-grandfather of four. Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation at 10 AM and Funeral Service at 11 AM on Thursday, June 16 at Crossroads Community Church, 104 Heather Road, Upper Darby, PA 19082. Interment will be at Friends Southwestern Burial Ground. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The ALS Association, 1275 K Street NW, Suite 250, Washington, DC 20005.
