Victor Ferri Obituary
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late John and Violet Ferri. He grew up in South Philadelphia and graduated from Southeast Catholic High School. He enlisted in the United States Army and served with the 8th Field Artillery Battalion, Nara, Japan as a Lieutenant.
He was employed by Railway Express for 30 years and was a member of St. Carthage Parish, St. Matthias Parish, St. Bernadette's Parish and finally settled at St. John Chrysostom Parish in Wallingford, PA. He enjoyed shopping for his nieces and nephews and was a dedicated user at all of the Parishes. Victor was a kind person who enjoyed helping people. He loved sports and was a dedicated Philadelphia Eagles, Phillie's and Notre Dame football fan.
Relatives and friends are invited tom his funeral mass Friday 11:00 AM at St, John Chrysostom Church, 615 South Providence Rd., Wallingford, PA 19086 and to his viewing at 10:00 AM in the church.
Int. Holy Cross Cemetery.

We were lucky enough to know Vic from church. Such a gentleman and always thoughtful and kind. After my husband died Vic always stopped by my pew after Mass to see how I was doing even though he wasn't feeling well himself. I thank God we got to know both Lucille and Vic.

Victor had a sweet disposition and a twinkle in his eyes. Parishioners at St. John Chrysosotom are so grateful for his many years of faithful service. Now he will be reunited with his beloved Lucille.
